The Subterranean Aviators are the premier Dallas rock band with a name that is moderately difficult to spell. Forming in 2006 and releasing their first album in August of 2010, The Subterranean Aviators have been establishing themselves in the Dallas area for some time. In the winter of 2010 they toured the states of Texas and Louisiana, and in the Summer of 2011 self-recorded their second album (to be released 2012).

MUSIC WHO CARES?
Tediously recorded at Ben Littlejohn’s Tear Wrangler Studio over nearly two and a half years; we have finally completed and mastered the album. It's called “Who Cares,” and is availible at our online store . Overall, we hope that you'll find the album a pleasant and energetic example of indie rock, from the chaotic opener “Astoria” to the two-part epic “Laugh Not To Cry” and finally to the album closer and title track, “Who Cares.” As an added bonus, the band's name will be printed on the album cover, just in case you ever need help spelling the band's name again.

THE BAND 
Jeff Wilke - vocals, guitars, keys, ukelele, etc.
Jeff has been with the band since 2006 and currently attends Brown University when not playing with the band.
Michael Rote - vocals, guitar, keys, bass
Michael was an on and off member since the start and in 2009 joined permanently. Since his addition the band has ventured from its power-trio roots to its current state. Michael attends St. Edwards in Austin Texas.
Anders Elmgren - drums
Anders has been with the band since 2008, and has been a crucial part of the music since his arrival. Anders now lives in Austin Texas and runs the band's recording studio in his spare time.
Brandon Schorsch - bass, synths
Brandon founded the band in 2006 and has conducted much of the needed mangement, finances, booking, etc.
